Medical Martes- hoy hablamos de cáncer. Disculpen el largo pero hay TANTA información valiosa que es difícil condensarla en 1, 2 o 3 😅 minutos.
✔️¿Qué es el cáncer? Condición donde las células de algún tejido se reproducen Sin control, no mueren e incluso invaden otros tejidos del cuerpo= metástasis.
✔️¿Porqué? Muchas causas- contaminación, dieta, genética, una combinación, o desconocido.
✔️Signos- pérdida de peso, tumores, cojera, tos...
✔️Diagnosis- depende del cáncer- pruebas de sangre, radiografías, aspirado o biopsia.
✔️Tratamiento va a depender del cáncer con el que estemos lidiando.
¿Qué preguntas tienes sobre el cáncer? Los leo👀

✔️What is cancer? A condition where the cells from a tissue of the body start reproducing with no control + don't die, and even spread and invade other tissues in the body. A.k.a. metastasis. ✔️Why? Lots of reasons- pollution, diet genetics, a combination or even unknown
✔️Signs- Weight loss, tumors, limping, coughing
✔️Diagnosis depends on the cancer- blood work, radiographs, aspirates, or biopsy
✔️Treatment will depend on the type of cancer we are dealing with.

Thankful Thursday! The saying it takes a village is 💯 more real when you are a small non profit, ran entirely on volunteers and rely on donations. Today we want to thank for their support and donations of flea/tick meds, as well as leashes.
We will continue to highlight those who help us help others.
