Welcome senegal parrot #2 and we are so happy you have a sibling!! Although they probably won't stay together forever we appreciate when our birds are raised with siblings so they have a better concept of being a real bird. Raising parrots can be complicated and this makes it a little easier. Follow us to watch them grow!

💫We still have openings for deposits so if you're interested in adopting one of our babies please message us today! They wean in 3 months. Very fast! Our babies will be recall and harness trained.

Our mission is to educate. We are very small time hobby breeders with a passion for raising only the best quality and friendly birds. Some of the species we raise at the moment are senegal parrots and English budgies. We will be posting about our up and coming chicks, facts about birds, and various craziness that occurs here at our ranch. We even garden for our birds! 🌱

Fact of the day:
Here's some lovely standard budgies that just joined our flock. Keets are some of our favorite birds for a variety of reasons!

➡️They tend to be easily trained
➡️also have independent tendencies, making excellent additions to busy households.
➡️they do not live as long as some parrots. Parrots can get up to around 80-100 years old and budgies live about 10-20 years

⚠️Common budgie misconceptions!
➡️they do not eat a seed only diet, they need vegetables and vitamins and minerals that dry seed alone cannot provide
➡️they can learn how to talk! Some budgies have been known to say multiple phrases and even make up their own sentences. Some of ours say a lot!
➡️they need plenty of flight space to stay healthy and live a longer life! Flight has been directly correlated to a stronger heart and birds that are allowed to fly are known to live an above average lifetime.
