JUST A REMINDER FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NERVOUS PUPS
As we head into New Year's weekend and all the celebrations that come with it, we want to remind you that your pets may not enjoy the fireworks as much as your neighbors do!
🎉If you have a newly adopted dog, please expect them to be nervous and plan to stay with them if at all possible.
🎉Please take time today to check that your dog's collar is on and secure, with correct identification information.
🎉Please take time today to ensure that your dog's microchip is registered with correct contact information.
🎉Please check your gates to be sure they are secure, but please keep your dogs inside and nearby as much as possible.
🎉If your dogs are nervous, stay by their side, you are their biggest comfort.
🎉Please keep the radio playing or ambient noise running if they are left alone to drown out the scary noises.
🎉Enrichment toys and treats can help to distract them from their fears.
One last reminder, we are closed all day New Year’s Eve and closed New Years Day and reopen Tuesday January 3rd at 11am.
