It’s with great sadness that I announce the closing of Drawn to scale exotics for the time being. Personal life issues came into play and I had to let go of all the animals. We will be back down the road. To those that came to the aid in my time of need thank you so much.

Happy National Snake day:

From my buddy Jormungandr- (the world serpent, Jan Norse mythology) he is a 4 year old adult
Rhinoceros Rat snake, native to Northern Vietnam and southern China. He is one of the sweetest and kindest animals I have ever known he is also just over 5 feet long.

Time to shed that irrational fear and negative branding. July 16 happens to be World Snake Day, albeit unofficially. Planet Earth is home to more than 3,500 species of snakes, of which only 600 are venomous.

Some pictures of 8 of 28 enclosures are fully bioactive (fully living ecosystems, from living soil, “isopods and springtails, to live plants and moss’s) thanks to again for some amazing plants, the moss and the two isopod cultures, and thanks to for some gorgeous plants as well.
