At our Holiday Markets, customers see beautiful displays of our Gourmet Jam and gift boxes. What they don't see is the struggle. Truck is loaded to go, but won't start. A hand cart full of 250 jars of jam tips over. Trying to get to Scottdale but there is a marathon that you need to navigate around. The tent won't fit in the designated spot we've been given. But it's all worth it just to share our gift with the people.

As I was in the farm putting together a harvest basket for my mother-in-law, I was struck by the genesis of Thanksgiving. The sharing of the bounty of the land between two different peoples. I'm grateful for our little urban farm and all that it provides for our family and the community.
