I don't exactly know when I became fascinated by feathers.
They always drew me in! I'd find one on a trail, pick it up, and wonder where the bird had been, what it had seen in our world, flying high above.
They are so unique! Each one so precise.
I guess I resonate with them because.. I'm also unique and never fit in with "normal" society.

I 'thought' the two little 'weenies' chewed my hose (ugh) and I bent down to pick it up...(I wasn't wearing my glasses)... the 'hose' started moving! "Yes", it is a 6ft long black snake!
