Hello patients, many of you know that I'm also a caregiver for my elderly parents, and everything is usually normal and it doesn't cause any issues. My father is dealing with a UTI , Clearfield hospital made us take him off of the antibiotic that his body needed and put him on Prednisone (this won't heal a UTI to begin with) with them doing that my father got much worse he was extremely weak (very confused, talking to people that wasn't there and etc) majority of times it's a 2 person assist when he needed to get up. It's still a 2 person assist because he's still weak yet but a bit better than what he was.

Patients if you have upcoming appointments with me effective today, I will need to reschedule all of you to mid September and beyond.

Shoot me a message if you can do this, if you need your horses dentals done quicker I will encourage you to either have your vet do them or even another horse dentist do them. But if you can wait until mid September I will get everyone rescheduled again then.

Also if you are not local please be advised that your appointment will need to be scheduled in the afternoon.

Hello everyone how is everyone doing with this virus going on?

Just a reminder that I'm scheduling horses for dentals, so if your horses need to be updated or first done, contact me and I'll be happy to get you scheduled in. Of course if you want to wait until the stay at home order is lifted you're free to do that as well.

If you contacted me here on the business page and you haven't heard back from me, please message me at 814-496-8499, I noticed Facebook tends to delay messages or not receiving them at all.

Floats are $65 for everyone and for all horses.

If you want your horses checked then it's $25, however if they need to be floated that goes away unless you postpone the float.

Also a reminder I accept the following payments, cash, check (make checks payable to Stephenie Alfieri), and also credit cards.

As always don't let your horses become victims to bad teeth!!

Hey as a reminder I'm still temporarily shut down, and with the stay at home orders, all appointments will be pushed to May, hopefully by then everything will be back to normal again, if not it'll be up to Wolf for when appointments will be scheduled again!!

Due to Governor Wolf's orders for non life sustaining businesses to be closer, we are temporarily closed down until otherwise!! Veterinarians as of right now are still open!!

Once we get the go ahead to be allowed to be in business again all appointments will be scheduled!!

Hello everyone there are some changes for this year!! I was also out for awhile to an eye injury!!

If paying by check please make it out to Stephenie Alfieri

Price is $65/ float for all customers and for all horses.

If you need a horse to be checked the price is $25, if your horse needs dental work and if you get it done the same day it'll just be the $65. If your horse doesn't permit me to work on it there will still be a charge anywhere from ($20-$30). This also will include if the situation starts to get dangerous (example: your horse is rearing up).

If your horse needs sedated please either get it from your vet (oral- dorm gel or injectable if you know how to administer it (vein works the best versus in the muscle. When I was in dentistry school I was taught how to administer sedation but it's illegal for any non vets to do). Or have your vet present.

If your horse needs any extractions, if I can extract it it'll be $10/ tooth. This also includes caps (baby teeth). And as well as wolf teeth.

* Yes young horses at 6 months of age can be floated and to have their wolf teeth extracted. So don't wait until your young horse is a yearling or a two year old to start working with it.

In order to keep any corrective work done on your horse and to make sure the correct work is working, keep with the recommended schedule for your horse!!
