We've been there. The garden used to be SIX lots when we started back in 2004 (or 1996 if you go by Peter's story...) Now there are THREE lots. One lot is under active development (after being sold to Joe B. for $1 around 2008 or so.) Two more lots have a giant fence around it after we were "noticed to vacate" by current owners NKCDC, who then notified us of their intent to "disinvest" which means sell it. Right now those two parcels are in limbo BUT we are hoping NKCDC allows Circle of Hope - 2007 Frankford Ave. to continue stewarding their land as a community garden in 2020 and for many years to come. More news to come as we get ready for the 2020 season. Peas will be going in the ground BEFORE St Patrick's Day and Nick Fury will be leading the usual Sunday Morning volunteer times from 10am-Noon starting April 1st!

Of the 2,314 properties the city has sold for $1 since 2000, according to an Inquirer analysis, about 800 have been since resold for $54 million.
