This sweet girl was recently found by a good Samaritan who brought her in to our Urgent Care to be checked out and scanned for a microchip.

No chip was found, but Green Street Rescue came to the rescue (literally!) and gave her a safe place to land💚

We’re beyond grateful to be able to work with such incredible rescues across Philly to help pets like her find safety, care, and eventually, a forever home!

Burns, even those that appear superficial, can be difficult to assess at first, as the full extent of tissue damage may not become apparent for 2–5 days. While small, superficial wounds can often heal with proper pain and infection management, some cases may require surgical intervention.

To help prevent accidents, it’s always a good idea to double check your burners and keep countertops clear of any curious kitties exploring the kitchen.
