Meet Sam (brown) & Sophie (black), a truly inseparable bonded pair who move through life glued hip-to-hip

Sam is the protective lover-boy of the duo. His tail is always wagging, he gives a million kisses a day, and he lives for cuddles- especially as the little spoon. He’s easygoing, loves being carried around, and wants to be part of every moment. He can get anxious when left alone, but when you’re home he’s the gentlest, quietest sweetheart.

Sophie is the sleepy, snorty queen who has taken on the role of Sam’s emotional anchor. She keeps him calm, checks in on him constantly, and always makes sure she’s touching him, even in her sleep. She loves her beauty rest, her butt & chest pat-pats, and knowing where Sam is at all times.

Together, they eat together, sleep together, play together- they’re practically one little unit in two snuggly bodies. They’re gentle during grooming, play beautifully with each other, and fill the home with softness and silliness.

A perfect bonded pair looking for a forever home… together, just the way they like it.

Last weekend, our Philly Pets Program hosted a free vaccine clinic that helped 68 animals — 52 dogs and 16 cats — stay healthy and protected! 🐶🐱

This program was created with Philadelphia’s residents and their pets in mind, offering free and low-cost services to help keep pets with the families who love them. Every vaccine, every microchip, and every wagging tail is made possible by donations from supporters like you.

Her adopters say: “Ivy is thriving!!! She’s our only child and gets all of our love and attention. She’s high energy, walks 3-4 miles a day, and just finished her basic manners training program—super obedient and eager to please!” ❤️
