Calling all Horse Lovers!

Join us this Saturday, June 14th from 10am-12pm for our June open farm day!
No experience necessary - Just a love for wanting to help at-risk horses enjoy their life in sanctuary. The youth is welcomed but must have a guardian chaperone!

Learn all the different stories about our residents and meet everyone from our oldest resident Piglet, to our youngest resident Kash! Enjoy a morning of hands on learning, from grooming the horses, to helping with barn chores!

Meet Shadow and Charlie🐾
These sweet boys are both looking for their forever families and a place to call home🖤 Shadow and Charlie both showed up as strays looking for help. After getting the help and care they needed, they are now looking for a forever home and ready to have their person!

About Shadow:

S*x: male
Age: young adult (2-3 years old)
Breed: short hair domestic
UTD on all vaccines
Neutered: yes
Fun fact: he wags his little tail when eating and getting petted, like he was a dog in a previous life 🥰

Shadow is looking for a person or family who can give him lots of attention! He is a little shy at first but when he warms up to you, he will sit in your lap and purr all day long. He is called Shadow for a reason.

He is very sweet and loves to perch at the window and take in all the things! He knows how to use a litter box and is well behaved. Shadow would prefer an indoor home environment and with time he might enjoy a companion cat of his own.

*He has been around other cats but not long enough to say he’s great with other pets, yet.

Fun fact: he absolutely loves to play with toys and does well with other cats

Charlie is looking for a person or family who can be very patient and understanding with him. He is very shy and nervous around new people but once he gets comfortable around you, he loves attention and cuddles! He loves to explore and comes in and out of our house. With time and encouragement, he would make a great house cat!

Fun fact: The vet noted his paperwork “very sweet boy” 🩵

Duke is truly one of a kind at the rescue, and we’re here for all his antics! 🐴 From his welcoming, healing personality for the new horses, to all his crazy escapes, Duke is the true definition of personality. We love watching Duke grow into his personality and be himself, whether it’s him trotting over to say hello, or him causing mischief! Whether he’s being a bit of a diva, trying to get all the attention, or just hanging out looking majestic, Dukes presence at the rescue makes every day brighter and keeps us on our toes! We can’t help but adore him more and more with each passing moment. Keep shining, Duke!

✅ 2 hour (minimal) weekly commitments preferred

Did you know it’s National Adopt A Pet Day?
We are very happy to recognize this day! It gives hope and second chances to all the beloved pets who have been placed in forever homes through Furvivors.

Big shout to the sweet babies:
Pookie, AJ, OB, Red, Cowboy, Mr Nutters Butter, Finn, Gus, Calvin and Millie. They each came to us broken, abandoned & forgotten.

After lots of compassionate care they found safety and love in forever homes. My heart is so happy getting updates on their journey. Knowing they are thriving with their families make the tough days easier. 💞

We are so thankful to the amazing humans who opened their hearts and homes to them. And to our team who cared for each of them along the way 🫶🏼🩷 Non of this would have happened with a community of animal loving like minded humans. 💗

Charlie is a sweet 2ish-year old boy. He’s ready for his forever person and a home to call his own🖤. Charlie came to Furvivors as a stray. He would not approach us at all. Now he has learned when it’s feeding time 😻 and he loves to be held and cuddled so I know he would make a great family pet. He loves to play with toys and belly rubs. He is shy at first but when he warms up to you, he wont stop purring! 🖤🤍🖤

Charlie is fully vetted; spayed and up to date on all vaccines. He is ready to find his furever home! Could that be yours?

It’s about giving a second chance. ❤️‍🩹Big Papa Gio, sweet baby Dallas and almost 1 year old Baby Kash understand the assisgnment on this sunny spring day. ☀️They were once forgotten, now living a thriving life of just existing. Enjoying the sunshine and finding safety and family in each other. 💞I stepped out the front door & caught these three napping while in tears of an unkind anonymous email my mom and I received. I needed this at this very moment. It makes the toughest of days worth it. Thank you to everyone who came out for our first Volunteer Open Farm Day of the year. It was an incredible success and very productive! Our amazing team and new volunteers gave their time and energy to help make a difference in the lives of our rescue horses. It was a day filled with muddy boots, warm hearts, and the kind of moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, gave a little extra love, and became part of our growing rescue family. We couldn’t do this without you! Stay tuned for our next volunteer day in a few weeks!
