๐™‰๐™š๐™ฌ ๐™”๐™ค๐™ง๐™  is a 4-year-old girl who continues to wait, watch, and hope that one day her family will walk through our doors. While others come and go, she patiently remains, wondering when it will finally be her turn.

New York is shy and will need time to warm up to new people and new surroundings. She won't be the dog who rushes into your arms on the first meeting, but the dogs who take the longest to trust often have the most beautiful hearts to give.

She is worth the wait.

Behind those timid eyes is a gentle soul with endless love just waiting for someone willing to move at her pace, offer patience, and show her that the world can be a safe place. The bond you'll build with New York won't happen overnight, but when she chooses to trust you, it will be something truly special.

Please help us show New York that she hasn't been forgotten. After all this time, she is still waiting for the family who will see past her shyness and discover the incredible dog she truly is.

A new star in loving memory of sweet Manatee is joining our donor wall ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

Manatee was adopted in 2022, and today would have been his 4th Gotcha Day. While his time here was far too short, his life was filled with exactly what every shelter dog deserves, love, comfort, and a family of his own.

He found the very best home, and he became his mommaโ€™s soul dog. The bond they shared was something truly special, and although his passing came much too soon, the love they had for one another will never fade.

The hardest part of loving our animals is saying goodbye, but the greatest gift we can give them is a life filled with love. Manatee knew that love every single day.

Today we celebrate his adoption day, his beautiful life, and the memories he leaves behind. Run free, sweet Manatee. You will always be remembered and forever loved. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Manatee's family and friends collected donations in his memory for our shelter dogs.

While our shelter was closed, two tiny puppies were dumped and abandoned at our shelter.

Confused. Scared. Alone.

We don't know their story. We don't know where they came from or why they were left behind. What we do know is that they desperately need help.

We named them ๐™ƒ๐™–๐™ซ๐™š๐™ฃ & ๐™…๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ฎ.

These sweet girls are severely dehydrated, anemic, covered in fleas, and loaded with intestinal parasites that are literally sucking the life out of them. They are weak, uncomfortable, and in need of immediate medical care, proper nutrition, and lots of TLC.

We refuse to let this be the end of their story.

Their names were chosen carefully. Haven because they have finally found a safe place. Journey because they have a long road ahead of them and their story is just beginning. Together, their names represent the promise we are making to them: from this day forward, they will know safety, compassion, and hope.

But we can't do it alone.

Please consider making a donation to help cover their medical treatment, medications, food, and ongoing care. Every dollar helps us give Haven and Journey the chance they deserve.

We may not know what their past looked like, but we will do everything in our power to make sure their future is bright, and that one day they find the loving forever families they have always deserved.
