We rescued an emaciated Belgian Malinois yesterday with a very swollen back foot. She was brought to the vet this morning and she is on antibiotics and painkillers for her swollen foot that is missing a couple of toes. The poor little girl is about a year old and only 24 pounds. She is recovering at the ranch.

Our first rescue call! The power of Facebook has lead to our first cold call for a rescue. A lady called me this morning regarding a stray mother cat and her 5 babies. No animal shelter would take them. The kittens are 6 weeks old and are eating solid food. They are up for adoption! Please contact Misty at 925-963-9996.

My assistant has started a Go Fund Me page for a homeless man and his dog that she has been assisting for years. The dog recently got hit by a car when she got loose. She will need surgery. During her recovery, the dog will be cared for by Misty Animal Rescue, but we need help with funding for the operation. The homeless man and his dog are located in Pomona. We appreciate any donation you can offer them.

Our animals are watching over us even after they are gone. So make sure you are there for them when they are sick and old. The unconditional love they have for you will transcend all of time and eternity.
