I’m done taking in work for 2025.

Happy October everyone.
Just a couple things to tell everyone about. Some good some not great.
I will be accepting shoulder mount projects only for the indefinite future.. Deer,moose,elk,etc
I’m working on archery deer from last season and last years bears currently.
My pricing has increased slightly to keep up with the ridiculous cost increases of everything.
Wishing everyone a safe hunting season this fall! If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I’ve got a great network of people that can take care of anything that I’m not able to..

Busy couple weeks here getting some nice stuff done. I’m cranking on some overdue stuff as well as some current things.
I do want to say that I will absolutely not take any more items for tanning only. I’ve gotten burned on this stuff way too many times and will not do it anymore. Looking forward to a great fall season! With all this rain we have had the antler development is really impressive this year.

So I’ve been AWOL for a long time.
I want to apologize for that and say I’m back to sharing things on a more regular basis.
I’ve made some changes in the past year as far as what I do and won’t do. But that said 2025 is shaping up to be the best year ever!

Just gotta say wow! Can’t believe how awesome this fall has been for all my customers
I’m totally booked and won’t be taking any more work until January.
If you shoot something you want done feel free to give me a call. I have some great taxidermists I can refer you to or put that trophy in the freezer and we can chat in January about what you would like to have done?
Right now I need to focus on getting the remainder of my workload done in a timely fashion. Thank you everyone!

Got some quality shop time in today! Finished a few projects and prepped a couple more to be finished tomorrow! Fall is upon us! I even fired up the wood stove today😳

Bear season is upon us here in Michigan.
Here is a little tidbit about skinning.
Leave the feet and head in to be skinned out by the taxidermist.Don’t cut the bear all the way up to the chin. If the hunter decides he or she wants a rug the taxidermist can do that.
Jigsaw puzzles cost more and the end result is never as good.

Happy summer everyone. It’s been a busy one between all my jobs. I’ve managed to get a bunch of work done this summer.
Moving forward I’m officially changing my buisness name to Ron’s Gameheads. As this will be my focus from now on. I will specialize in gameheads,I will still accept specimens for rugs and a few other specialty items but my primary work will be Gameheads.
Whitetail deer will be 850 this season which is a small increase from last season due to rising costs. I can’t tell you all how much I appreciate everyone for thier support.

Been a busy couple weeks here at Ron’s Gameheads.
I’ve finished a few whitetails,done some antler repairs,made some crates to ship mounts out and did a cool coyote I’ve had in my freezer for 4 yrs since I shot him.
Last weekend was the Michigan Taxidermist Association convention in Mt Pleasant. I took my coyote along and won a masters division second place with him,I also got a very special award for my work in the gamehead category over the years.It was a great time continuing my learning and improving journey.
