Robin provides 24 hour on-site care and an unbeatable commitment to the horses in her care. Windswept Farms is a full care horse boarding facility in the historic town of Petersham, MA. With easy access to Rt-2 and the many beautiful trails throughout Harvard Forest, Windswept Farms is in the perfect location. Our facility includes: 26 matted 10x12 generously bedded stalls, a large indoor arena, a
n outdoor dressage ring, fenced grass jumping field, round pen, trails off the property as well as trailheads about a 1/2 mile down the road, wash stall with hot and cold water, and heated tack rooms. All day turnout is also provided in individual or group paddocks with safe fencing, weather permitting and when available. (2 large paddocks for group turnout, 14 smaller paddocks for individual or buddy turnout-including 2 stallion paddocks). Stalls cleaned every day, except Fridays (boarders are welcome to clean stalls on that day), bedding added to stalls at least twice a week. Full board options for $600 and $650 per month. Use our farrier (scheduled weekly) and we will include your horse on our schedule and handle your horse for no additional charge. Our vet is also scheduled regularly for seasonal vaccines and teeth floating. If you choose to use our vet, we will also handle your horse for these regularly occurring appointments at no extra charge! Owners are expected to schedule any additional appointments and make arrangements for handling. Other vets and farriers welcome, but owners are responsible for scheduling and handling. Take advantage of our regularly scheduled chiropractor and pulse therapy as well! Many activities and programs can be enjoyed at Windswept including lessons for boarders, clinics, warmblood inspections, and shows. Bring your own instructor for a small ring fee, provided that your lesson is pre-scheduled and that the arena is available on that day. Several clinics are also scheduled throughout the year. Windswept has also been the host site for the RPSI , American Warmblood Society, and Oldenburg inspections.
