**Help Wanted: Farm/Barn Manager with Horse Care Experience**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee our farm operations, with a focus on horse care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horse management and basic problem solving skills. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill set.
**Responsibilities:**
- Cleaning stalls and maintaining a clean and safe environment for horses
- Feeding and turnout of horses according to established schedules
- Fence repair and maintenance to ensure the safety and security of the property
- General maintenance of the facility, including buildings, pastures, and equipment
- Basic troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance as possible
- Troubleshooting for major equipment repairs by coordinating with appropriate companies
- Driving trucks and trailers for transportation of horses and equipment as needed and capable
- Mowing and upkeep of grounds as part of regular maintenance
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience working with horses, including feeding, grooming, and basic husbandry
- Basic troubleshooting ability for simple repairs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as scheduled appropriately
