Whoa 😳

"My dad sold crack and got murdered at 22. My main role model in life was in the streets, as were almost all of my peers.
I started attending Eastern Michigan University at the same age my dad died; luckily I did because the older I got, the more tempting the streets became.
But I never gave in.
Now, I’m a 27-year-old black man with no criminal record and a bachelor's degree. I wasn’t supposed to make it to the point I’m at now with the hand I was dealt.
But I did.
College isn’t necessary to become successful, but I have learned a lot through this journey and I am grateful it got me out of the situation I was in.
You can’t tell me I’m not winning in this game we call life! 💪🏾"

So I'm not working a 925 or a 4p to 4a any longer and I may never go back even though I desperately need some extra money to handle my life expenses; however, one thing I have learned from my experience is that time flies by sooooooooooo fast and you can't afford to wake up one day and then wonder wth you did with your life and time. Time is all we have. Family and good friends are we got. And God willing a second chance to get it all done and all right tomorrow is all we will get, God willing. So do the important things today!!! For example I told my 93-94 year old grandma that I love ❤️ her today and gave her a kiss 😘 on her face in a special spot that she picked out just for me on her face when I was just knee high to a grasshopper 🦗 and now that I Tower over her I appreciate that I can still get to that same spot 💋
