Have you met sweet Limey? This cute girl has been in a loving home for the past year, but is back with us due to life changes. Life throws curve balls sometimes, and we’re here for Limey. She’s only 1-1/2 years old, spayed female; she has lived with kitties and seems nice with dogs. She can be a bit timid at first, so patience, love, and confidence building will help Limey succeed. This little fella evaded capture last night, running all around the area of Wilson St. and Lakeville. This morning he was spotted by a The City of Petaluma - Government worker (thank you so much!!), hiding in the grass, behind a tree, by the railroad tracks! Our officers quickly responded and were able to safely catch him before bolting into traffic. He's now safe at our shelter! Intact male, no collar or microchip. Did you know we have darling guinea pigs looking for homes? Shiloh, and his son Jamie, have been with us for some time. G pigs are SUCH great pets! They're interactive, absolutely love veggie treats, they even play. These two had a history in their previous home of not getting along together, but we're hoping in a larger area they can be buddies again. Right now they're housed separately at our shelter. Jamie is super social, Shiloh a bit more wary, but easily handled. Have questions? Want to add some happy to your life? Of course you do!! You've got to meet Birdie. This girl loves EVERYBODY, two and four legged. She's gonna be a good-sized girl when she's grown; she's around 6 months old, we think she's a walker hound mix, so she has lots of energy, a great disposition, and life for her? It's just fun. Toss in a bit of reward-based training, and Birdie will be a gem. She already is! Come meet her! 840 Hopper St. Petaluma!

Calling all food lovers, chefs, and dog lovers- Bobby Flay is in the building! Just imagine inviting your friends for a dinner party when you tell them Bobby Flay is there with you! Maybe not THE Bobby Flay, but we love this 4-legged version even more. This pup is just a youngster, about 1 year old; he’s a little timid at first, yet he responds to patience and love, and in fact, he would thrive with human company. He’s very excited meeting new dogs, and learning some impulse control will help him. We have not introduced him to kitties yet. Bobby is neutered and ready. We thought you might enjoy watching Liberty playing with Jack (he's the pup with the white face)! Jack’s out in foster-to-adopt now, but Liberty is still waiting for her forever home. She’s just a youngster, 1 year 3 months old, full of energy and playfulness. She came to us tentative and a bit of a worrier, but she has opened up to show us her sweet side. Liberty is looking for a nurturing home to help her settle into home life and become the best pup she can be. She likes other dogs, but we think she would prefer to be the only pet in her home.
