A super fun gymnastics kind of weekend!!! Andres built a challenging course that incorporated a variety of challenges you’d find on a course at a show and a gymnastics meant to help your horse rock back and collect! We have a rare opportunity to come train and board with us! We have 2 spots available for the first time since moving to Equus Springs. We are a full training program offering 5/6 days of training/lessons. We cross train all of our horses and students with a solid Dressage foundation whether that’s the main goal or for a better connection and understanding of balancing your horse for the hunter/jumper arena. If your goal is to show we have a team going to rated and schooling shows but that’s not a requirement to train with us. We also specialize in rehabilitation and have many wonderful tools and skills to help build your horses back to full health safely and stronger than ever! There’s nothing more satisfying than teaching our jumping clients a solid Dressage lesson and having them have those light bulb moments!!! All of our horse and rider teams have at least one dressage lesson a week and everyone appreciates how much more feel and balance they get with their partners from it. Volume on and loud is crucial w this on! So our GP rescue has some pretty funny quirks it seems.. Monday morning we were watching Airplane (the best movie ever) and the Staying Alive song came. The next thing I knew he went down on his side and started swim/dancing 😳✨👏👏👏🐶🐶 appropriate for a dog who was close to being euthanatized at a year old. I can’t stop laughing 😂

All traffic stopped earlier in the week so the cows from up the road could get returned to their own pasture after a neighbor borrowed them to graze down her own field. It’s pretty awesome being a part of an agricultural community that is working together for a better ecology.
