We focus on developing horse and rider with clarity and purpose and offer a selective placement program to match riders with their ideal Lusitano. We do lessons and training in dressage, jumping, and working equitation. Rehab services available.

Working Equitation Clinic this weekend!!

You know you want to try it....
Last minute spots are available, convince your riding buddy to sign up with you and come discover some fantastic training that is also fun for you and your horse.
Auditors are welcome. Saturday will focus on skills for better transitions, lines and turns. Sunday we will put those fundamentals to use on the Working Equitation obstacles.
All levels and all disciplines benefit from WE!

You’re invited to our Working Equitation Clinic on 4/26-27 at Hunter Lane in Santa Rosa, and I’d love to open it up to riders who want to go deeper with their training.

This clinic is built around WE training. It’s not just riding through obstacles, but using them as a powerful framework for developing connection, timing, and rideability.

It’s ideal for riders looking for that combination of technical guidance and deeper horsemanship—where progress doesn’t just mean cleaner rounds, but a more connected, confident partnership.

I love introducing people and horses to the benefits and fun of WE. I also really enjoy developing refinement with more experienced pairs. No matter your experience or level, we always have a fun and rewarding time.

On Saturday we had a ton of fun prepping for our upcoming show at El Campeon Farms. We braided up, warmed up, rode our dressage tests, and rode a nice EOH course designed by Jack Burns.
It was great practice to run through everything in our own mini schooling show.
We are heading down to Thousand Oaks in a few days and are feeling super excited to see everyone and do some Working Equitation!

We have been busy training for the upcoming Working Equitation show season. We are excited to be bringing four horses to the shows at beautiful El Campeon Farms in Thousand Oaks in April.

Between now and the show, Jack Burns will be riding Lorca in a clinic with Portuguese master Afonso Resina, as well as attending TWO clinics with champion Gilberto Filipe !

After taking in all that inspiring education and showing, Jack will be teaching a WE clinic here in Santa Rosa April 19-20.

We are enjoying the January sunshine and getting ready for a great 2025!
Looking forward to getting Lorca J*P and our other JDot Stables Lusitanos out to Working Equitation shows this year.
