Sheesh... as Mayor of Morti's, I have to do everything around here. Since most of the volunteers "work" 🙄and have a "day job," all the important responsibilities fall to me. Today I'm supervising the build-out of more welcome rooms here in the Lounge. With kitten season arriving soon (60 was the last number I heard 😯), we're going to need plenty of private spaces for introductions, decompression, and all the important kitten business.
Now, my next question is this: where does a mayor get a set of four kneed pads... Because apparently I'm running a construction project now.

Excuse me, but can someone explain what is happening here? I was minding my own business when I discovered these strange human foot coverings abandoned at the front door. After a brief startled jump (strictly precautionary), I decided this mystery was above my pay grade and walked away.
I really do need to get out of here and into my forever home. I feel my management skills are being underutilized here, and I would very much like to relocate to a position where they are properly appreciated.
If anyone finds the missing human attached to these shoes, please let me know so I can get back to napping.

Hey, give us a chance!
We know we don't always show the public our best, most interactive selves. The Lounge can be busy and noisy, and honestly? New people can be a little scary for us.
But if you sit and talk with us, slip us a Temptations treat or two, wave a wand toy around, and give us a little time, you'll start to see who we really are.
We're nice guys. We never want to hurt anyone. We're just cautious when we're meeting someone new.
The funny thing is, once we build trust, we become genuinely interested in our humans. We want to know what you're doing. We want to engage. We want pets, playtime, and companionship. We just need a little extra time to get there.
The best friendships aren't built overnight, you know. They're built one conversation, one treat, one wand toy session, and one moment of trust at a time.

Meet Ben, a truly handsome and brave FIP survivor with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. 🐾 While Ben is absolutely soaking up the spotlight in this photo, he actually comes as a very special package deal with his bonded best friend, Cole.
These two boys have been through so much together, and their bond is something truly beautiful. Ben is an incredibly affectionate love bug, and together with Cole, they make the kind of quiet, gentle companions that will melt right into your heart. Now that they are healthy, happy, and fully ready for their forever home, they’re just hoping someone special sees how incredible they are.
Because of their medical history, Ben and Cole will need to be the only cats in their new household. They are currently staying in a private area at Great Stuff Thrift Store while they wait for that perfect match to come along.

Hey everyone, Electric here—the official Mayor of Morti’s! 🐾
As you can see, I’m currently conducting a strict security inspection of this carrier. Why? Because I’m getting ready to be busier than a one-eyed cat watching two mouseholes.
I’ll be acting as the official head of the welcoming committee for all the kittens arriving here in the Lounge over the next few months. The latest number I heard? 60 of the little tykes! That's a lot of tiny paws to supervise, but as Mayor, I take my duties very seriously.
Now, I know you might be tempted to look elsewhere, but let me tell you why a Morti’s kitty is worth the short wait. Our $150 adoption fee gets you a whole lot of peace of mind. Every single one of my future constituents comes completely vetted:
Spayed or Neutered (Fixed up and ready to roll)
