If you have any information leading to the death of my daughter's dog, Ruby-Kay, please contact me either on Facebook or call me directly please at (727) 366-4345. Ruby was also being treated by Dr. Mosley.
My daughter some special needs and this dog couldn't had been more of a miracle in disguise for her. You see, KK had been wanting a dog of her own for years and finally one of her teachers recommended it may help her to re-attach herself. I thought I had found the most perfect dog but everything about it had gone so wrong. The lady told me it was a four hour drive, try ten one way. We walked into a puppy mill where we found out this poor girl had not left a garage in her three years of life and shared a kennel space with over a dozen makes. She also had her first litter at only six months old where she needed a c-section because of her age but due to finances, all pet care was done in house. My daughter had tears in her eyes as I said lets go and she told me , "mom, she'll kill her here." So I handed over my astronomical adoption fee and that little girl loved my daughter the whole way home. We took her to the Petal Animal Vet Clinic the next day because of course she was sick but we've been trying to manage it all financially. Now I understand it's my fault the door stayed cracked and she snuck out for one second while I grabbed the pizza but how could you not KNOW YOU HIT HER BECAUSE THE LIGHT SHINES RIGHT THERE AND AT YOU WERE DEFINITELY GOING A HIGHER THAN POSTED SPEED OF 35! You could had come told us YOU HIT HER SO SHE HAD GONE TO THE ear immediately. She was decapitated from being run over more, eyes popped out, every bone in her four pound body broken and as she lay dying in my arms bleeding to death and took her last breath. I couldn't help but lay in the road apologize to you Ruby for trying to save you from the pain of your past and I hurt you more. My daughter passed all her grades this year because of you Rubers.
They were best friends and inseparable. My daughter was no longer depressed with pup in her life. I am very angry at God from taking this beautiful soul from us and tearing my daughter apart. Anyone who has a child with special needs understands this bond. I don't have the finances to go out and replace expenses like these for her unfortunately. I just want answers and I know someone has some. The Petal police department only would tell me that they get multiple complaints over the same speeders, peeling outs, youth at the car wash after dark but can't do nothing more if they don't see it in person. We are active duty military and I often wonder if this is what we get because we don't belong here. This whole thing just seems too intentional. Can someone please help ease this pain. As a mother, I owe my daughter this explanation please.
Thank You,
Kristi
