Independence Day Notice

To the Big Red Dog, the dog I owe my career to.

9 years ago when I got Rusty I struggled to find a dog groomer that could groom him. He was 100+ lbs and no matter where I took him I’d pick him up and he still did not feel clean. This pushed me to pursue my career in grooming. That is now East End Board & Groom.
Rusty, you were the bestest boy. You met me at the door after a long days work, the guardian of the farm, the king of watching sun sets, and most of all my best friend for the last 9 years. You wouldn’t hurt a fly.. but our poor mail lady was so scared of you laying in the yard (to be fair you did have 2 of the scariest German Shepherds backing you up at every step)
A true gentle giant. I’m beyond grateful for the years I had with you. You traveled the country with me to dog shows and coonhound events all across the states.
We never have enough time with them here on earth. But I know you are up there running across the rainbow bridge. At 15 years old, you lived the best life I could have ever given a dog.

So here’s to you Rusty, because without our paths crossing… there never would have been an East End Board & Groom.

You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten 🩷
