Sadly, I've decided to list my last halflinger mare, Rose, for sale.
She is a great well trained mare that is a lot of fun to ride. I've ridden her for checking cattle, sorting calves, rope throwing practice, Western dressage, barrels and trail. She rides Western or English but I've ridden her exclusively Western, or ba****ck. she is 14.1h and 14 years young. She's sitting here unused and it's time she finds someone who can truly appreciate what a joy she is to ride. Advanced rider owners preferred as she can be skittish at first before getting to know you. Although my very timid daughter has trail and pasture ridden Rose without any issues in the past, when my daughter was 10 or 11. Rose is an easy keeper and does well in a stall or in pasture. She is a dominant horse in a herd setting. She's excellent for the farrier and vet, loads and unloads perfectly, neck reins very nicely, responds to leg pressure without spurs. She is a Smooth smooth ride.
I'm going through my pictures over the past 7 years to find some good pictures and videos of her from the past. I'm not presently riding due to personal health problems but *might* be able to get a short riding video in the near future if absolutely necessary.
I really enjoy this mare β€οΈ I think she is a priceless riding companion.
