Let’s keep your shedding dogs cool in this warm weather☀️

It might be time for a deshed service! While this does not completely stop shedding, if kept on a 4-6 week schedule it can help greatly reduce it. All deshed services include a bath with deshedding shampoo and conditioner, facial wash, ear cleaning, nail trim, blowout and a thorough brush out to help remove the dead undercoat. By removing the dead undercoat, your pet will be left with a thinner, cooler and shinier coat.

I never suggest shaving double coated breeds unless medically necessary. Shaving will not make them cooler. Dogs need their undercoat to regulate their temperature. Shaving can lead to:

- Overheating in the summer
- Sunburn & skin cancer
- Damaged coat

I’m happy to help answer any other questions you may have. Please contact me to make an appointment! 😁
