With Positive Reinforcement Training we work on establishing behaviors that are reward-based, which gets results. NO aversive methods using choke, prong or electric stimulated collars. Many POSITIVE PUNISHMENT method trainers will state that their specific methods are the ONLY or BEST ways to get results. They may even put a negative spin on reward-based training. We here at New Leash On Life won't claim that our method of training is the only way to get results, but we do guarantee that we WILL provide the safest and enjoyable training experience for you, your family and your dog; and will get you the results that you require. This is what drives me to assisting people to become strong "Leaders" for their dogs.

Hello Bob,
If you remember Maisey, you helped me understand her actions. Maisey turned one year in April. She’s been affected by traumatic tests over the months we’ve had her.
Bob, you have a spot in one of Maisey’s great memories.
You were considerate of our physical disabilities as well as encouraging the involvement of one of our daughters.
Maisey is our constant companion. At 91 #’s she’s formidable and we MUST communicate so no one gets hurt.
My husband, primarily relying on a wheelchair, is training Maisey to respond to his voice over the security system. She now comes to the door where she waits for him to move out of the way. She plays ball with him and is happy to follow all her commands. She understands his equipment and knows how to move around it. She is patient, inquisitive and is allowed the occasional chase, because she responds so quickly to an urgent “STAY”, whether day or in the dark of night.
Bob, thank you for teaching me to communicate with her. Your training was very helpful and now the rest is happily up to us.

When your dog comes to the dog pound because you’re tired of him, because he bothers you, prevents you from going on vacation or other excuses...
He sits and waits.
He's waiting for you to come get him.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a month, a year --- he's waiting for you.
He doesn’t know why, but he’s waiting because he trusts you, because unlike you, he loves you.
Listen up well then. Your animal is not a toy.
