I have been raising and loving the Miniature Australian Shepherd, recognized by AKC in 2013 as the Miniature American Shepherd since 2010. Eddy - our last Blue Moon puppy!

This handsome black tri Miniature American Shepherd was born on April 18, 2025 and raised in our home with experience and training (and mostly a lot of love) along with our 4 well trained Mini Aussies including Eddyโ€™s mama, Indie, and his Uncle Tate.

Eddieโ€™s got it all!! He is ๏ฟผhouse trained, crate trained and does great on a leash and a flare collar. Eddy adores walks, cuddles (especially cuddles!), kids, and other dogs.

and even smiles for the camera Heโ€™s tagging along for boat rides and UTV rides, learning his obedience basics.

Eddy smiles (a fun Aussie quirk) and melts the hearts of everyone he meets.

He is fully vaccinated, parents genetically health tested, smart, respectful, calm and treat motivated.

All this and on top of that he is beautiful!! Eddy has a soft and rich colored black coat and deep copper. We expect him to mature about 15โ€ tall and in the 25-35 pound range. Eddy will make a wonderful companion, therapy dog, agility or rally prospect.

We thought to keep him with our family, and you will see why if you meet him, but I already have four puppers at home so itโ€™s time to find Eddie a forever home where heโ€™ll be the star.

Our Story

The Miniature American Shepherd is prized as a working dog, often excelling as a search and rescue dog, as well as a disaster dog, therapy and a guide dog. They are versatile and athletic and excel in events such as agility, obedience competition, and flyball as well. But even more so, they are an excellent family pet. As long as they are involved with their "human", this breed does well in any setting.
