So much of what makes Silver Lining Riding run smoothly happens quietly, behind the scenes. This picture captures Mandy perfectly, working in the shadows, making sure everything and everyone is cared for.
Mandy is the one coordinating with families, keeping our herd healthy and sound, and always willing to share her knowledge and love of horses with our volunteers. She pours into others with patience and care, helping them feel confident around the horses and supported in their roles.
She never asks for the spotlight, but the truth is, so much of the light we see shining in the arena is because of her. 💙🐴

Before a new horse ever steps into weekly adaptive riding lessons, we make sure they’re set up for success and so are our riders. 💛

Mock lessons are an important part of introducing our new equine partners to their role. They help our horses learn the rhythm of class, get comfortable with mounting ramps, and practice working with a full support team.

Sunny has been absolutely thriving in his new role!
With the steady hands of our staff, the dedication of our STAR Team volunteers, and the patience of our amazing rider, he’s building confidence with every step.
