Cat of the week ~ Thin Mint

Thin Mint is an almost 8 year young female. She was adopted, but unfortunately her owner became very ill and she was returned to 4 Paws. So, she is seeking a new home to call her own. Thin Mint has a cute meow when she is being pet (and she LOVES being pet!) and does get along with other cats. She loves wet food and wand toys. Let’s not forget a cat condo! Though she is not fond of being picked up, she does like being near you. She is so cute and likes to stick her tongue out frequently.

Cat of the Week ~ Abitail

My name is Abitail and yes, I do have a gorgeous tail. I am a female (of course, look at how pretty I am!), almost 5 years young, and have beautiful yellow and white medium length fur. I have been featured before and am still waiting for my perfect family. I love to be brushed and pet. I’m mellow and like to be picked up. I would like to play with you and wand toys. Climbing perches is one of my favorites. I have had some urinary issues in the past, but 4 Paws took care of me and now I am on a special diet. I would love to be in a quieter home and introduced slowly to the family. We can give each other loving companionship. I will be waiting for that special someone, is it you?

🐾 Meet Firestone and Abitail! 🩷

UPDATE: Firestone has become unavailable as of June 6th. We will post again when he does. But Abitail is still available! Thank you.

Firestone originally came to us as a kitten that we had in foster until ready for adoption. And Abitail came to us because her owner had passed away in the home and she was all alone until someone rescued her.

🐾 They are both very sweet, playful, and loving kitties! They were kept in the same room together at our Peoria shelter and get along great together if you are interested in adopting TWO kitties!

🩺 They both are on urinary prescription food and must remain on that diet to be healthy. Yearly vet checks are also a must. Adopters can purchase their food through our shelter and/or get a prescription for the food from their own vet. Potential adopters must be willing to keep up on their health needs and diet.

🩷 Do you have experience with kitties that have a history of urinary health issues and want to rescue Firestone and/or Abitail?

🩷 Do you have other kitties at home on a urinary diet and looking for a friend that will get along with them? Then these two are for you!

Cats of the week ~ Shelley & Blondie

Hi! I am Shelley, a 8 ½ year young female grey tabby/tortie and my adopted sister is Blondie, the cream colored tabby. Blondie is female also and 7 years young, just shy of 8 years (Her birthday is next month). I have medium length fur that is soft. We both love to be pet and brushed and are very affectionate. Blondie is a bit more shy at first (that’s why I am introducing us), but will come around. I like to play with wand toys and we both like wet food and treats. A cat tree with a view outside is wonderful! We are bonded and like to sleep together. We usually know what the other is doing.
