Dear PAH family,
I hope this letter finds you all well. After much consideration and reflection, I have decided to submit my resignation from my position as the hospital’s resident cat effective 4/11/25.
My time at Peoria Animal Hospital has been nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve had the privilege of stealing chairs for my long naps, sneaking into the food room to get my daily snack, and providing a soft, purring presence during long days on the ward. However, I feel that it is time for me to move on and pursue a new chapter in my life, one filled with uninterrupted naps and less responsibility.
Please know that I will always cherish the memories I’ve made here. I will continue to be a friend to all, but from now on, I will focus solely on my personal well-being, including a rigorous schedule of sunbeam lounging and extra treats.
Thank you for the opportunities and the kindness you have shown me during my tenure. I am confident the hospital will continue to thrive without my expertise, but I am certain my absence will be deeply felt in the hearts of the staff who have grown accustomed to my delightful presence.
