What’s been 🆙 Wednesday.
We hope everyone has been enjoying these last hot summer days as we prepare to drift into Autumn next week.
Here at Halls we have been busy like always thanks to you! All our Followers, Friends, and Family. When it comes to new customers, Your word of mouth recommendations are the lifeblood of our small family business and we can never thank you enough.
When it comes to repeat clients we have tons of frequent fliers and among those our realtor friends use us constantly like last week…We stopped by to help out several old realtor friends and a couple new ones.
We stopped by and helped out Kristine Kniep RE/MAX Traders Unlimited not once, not twice, but three different jobs over in her home town of Morton including this full size upright piano. After a long day of jobs we couldn’t pass up a chance to stop by the Pumpkin Festival for a slice of pie and a Ferris wheel ride.
We also stopped by to help out Rhonda Milburn, Jenni Riebel, (Chris schaff byway of our other realtor buddy Troy Kerrn) and even all the way down to Bloomington to help out Brittany Jones who needed a heavy Nordic track treadmill pulled up from the basement. We love Working hard every day to put food on the table and to put what ever we have leftover back into our community and we thank you ALL for the opportunity.
After a hard weekend of work The Boss Lady and I headed up to the Heights to enjoy a nice dinner on the patio as the sunset, at one of our favorite places The Publik House the broiled Salmon is fantastic and so are the burgers, stop by and try it out.

September coming in fast already Two days in on a Tuesday.
Today we have a bit of a request for you all should anyone be so inclined.
We recently came across this large lot of LEGO toys on a job, about 15 pounds worth, most of them seemed to go with one set which was the “home alone house”. We are not sure which sets the others belong to and we’re also pretty certain the house parts are not completely there, and so we came up with an idea that we thought might work. What if one of the people who follows our page is an awesome LEGO builder already and might like to help us turn this pile into a “spooky haunted house 🏚️” which we would then use that as one of our prizes for our upcoming Halloween giveaway.
So are you an expert builder or do you know someone who is. Please share this post with them.
We are happy to pay for the time, trade services or items from our shop should anyone be interested in helping us with this.

Happy Labor Day from your Happy Laborers and your first family for hauling and junk removal since 2021!
Hopefully you all are gearing up for some grilling out with your family enjoying this beautiful early Autumn weather today.
The Boss Lady and her Gentleman professional were out and about over the past few days helping out and about all the way down to Bloomington and then Peoria and East Peoria helping out a couple new clients and one of our frequent fliers.
We made quick work of these smaller jobs and headed home to start our Labor Day weekend.

Hey Halls Followers today is our frist time making a Thrifty Thursday post, please let us know if you enjoy these somewhat off topic style posts.
We are trying to find creative ways to make the resale store accessible online and so we thought we might feature a item from there on sale as well as shed some light on other activities around town to enjoy that are free or frugal on the budget.
Today we are featuring the look out on Fondulac drive in East Peoria.
Lots of people know about the Grand View that’s available when you take a trip down Peoria Heights’ Grandview drive but this slightly lesser known gem in East Peoria in my opinion is the best view of The City of Peoria that you can find with out a drone.
We stopped by the park on our way home from helping a new client clear out a few last minute items from her home as she sold it. I took these photos of The Boss Lady on my older iPhone just as an example for any photographers who may have forgotten about or might want to visit this little look out park with about 4 parking spots and 1 cute little bench and one amazing view zero dollars to see 😯.
Last but not least we have this very clean front loader dryer for sale at the shop for a steal at $100 dollars.
This dryer is a Gas hook up and features a water inlet for steaming also. It is currently plugged in for you to view and test. We ask that you set up an appointment to come and view the this or any of the thrifty thursday items and test them out before buying, we are happy to help you load up to take home.
(You can find the park located just across the bridge near 418 fondulac drive.)

Good Saturday afternoon!
We hope you all have a nice relaxing weekend in store.
The Boss Lady and Mr. Hall headed over to the bartonville area to help out one of our longtime repeat customers David M.
David and his family are moving into a new home better suited for them. The house just had a few last minute items that needed to get picked up in order to have smooth transition. As always we were happy to help make that a reality.
Thank you David for once again choosing our family for your hauling and unwanted item removal needs, we sure appreciate your repeat business.

The midweek is once again upon us, and so is another solar cycle for this handsome fella here🤓!
When Mr. Hall isn’t busy throwing couches around like balsa wood, he likes to double duty as a cat bed as well as, play Magic: The Gathering with our sons.
You can catch him out at Cabbages and Kings Games tonight playing in the commander pods or with the Boss lady and her friends at the courtyard trivia night.
Stop by and for happy birthday wishes or for some cardboard flopping, trivia testing, frothy drinks fun.

Good Monday afternoon Halls Followers!
We’re well into August and the heat is on like a Beverly Hills cop soundtrack. I’m no Glen Frey but the boss lady and I were sweating up a storm as we gathered up these items for a new client.
This fold up bar had become home to a colony of ants as well as a large group of spiders
(video in the comments if your not squeamish 🐜🕷️)
We made quick work of this one before heading off to the next one. Thank you Jordy for choosing our family for your hauling and clean up needs. We sure appreciate your new business!

Happy Friday Halls Followers!
We hope you all have a nice relaxing weekend, hopefully near a pool since it looks like it’s going to be a hot one.
Yesterday we were near a pool but unfortunately we were only there to tear down this “not so hot tub” for our new clients Mr. & Mrs. Deal.
This old unit looks like it was manufactured about 15-25 years ago and was left by the previous owners when they purchased this home.
We know this scenario all to well, Hot Tubs, Pianos, and Pool Tables are the top three bulky items that sellers will try and convince you to keep. Your mileage may vary but we recommend working the removal cost into the sale and we also suggest you get any of those 3 you might keep inspected as they all have a variety of typical issues.
This units wood was rotted to the point Mr Hall was able to just pull the frame, that supports the shell, off by hand.
We made a few well placed cuts and then shoveled up the insulation that had turned into bread crumbs.
Loaded up, Cleaned up and headed home. Mr. Deal left us this super nice review before we ever made it out of the driveway. Sure appreciate that! Thanks so much for choosing our family for your hot tub removal needs.
