Pastel Enchi Lace Desert Ghost het Clown. Not the most genetically powerful holdback from last year, but easily one of our favorites.

Sometimes the animals that stop you in your tracks aren’t the ones with the longest genetic description. 🔥

🍅 Sweet Tomato has been one of our favorite OG holdbacks since day one.

As a full sister to Tangela (from our last post), she’s always stood out with her rich reds, bold pattern, and incredible potential. This season she’s been paired to our visual Chocho male, Nemesis, and she’s already rewarded us with multiple clutches! 🔥

One of our biggest goals is bringing strong reds into the Chocho project. We believe that added brightness, contrast, and color saturation will take these future Chocho combos to another level.

Now we play the waiting game… and dream about what’s hiding inside those eggs. 👀🥚

🚨 Public Service Announcement 🚨

This is your friendly reminder that some opportunities don’t come twice. 😏

Tangela is officially off the market and tucked safely into the future plans here at Morph Explosion. This girl checks all the boxes—color, structure, and attitude—and she’s patiently waiting for a special stud that’s almost ready to step up to the plate.

The goal? Bringing some serious color and contrast into our Chocho projects. 😱🔥

Sometimes the best animals aren’t the ones you sell… they’re the ones you keep.

Not every shed test gives you the answer you’re hoping for… but every one gives you valuable information. 🙌

This girl came back negative for Het G-Stripe, but thanks to we now have a positive ID on what she really is:

🔥 Enchi Leopard Hypo Desert Ghost het Clown 🔥

And honestly? That’s more than enough to earn a permanent spot in the holdback rack. The color, contrast, and potential on this girl are exactly what we’re building toward.

The best part? We’ve still got a stack of sheds headed out for testing, so the surprises are far from over. 👀

These three future stars are getting some time out of the tubs and onto their brand-new jungle gym. A little enrichment goes a long way when it comes to building confidence, encouraging natural behaviors, and keeping curious minds busy.

Plus… let’s be honest, they look pretty cool doing it. 😎
