🐾 Doodle Puppy Grooming Plan Every Owner Needs! 🐾

Bringing home a Doodle puppy?
Here’s the smartest maintenance grooming schedule to keep that fluffy coat beautiful and your pup stress-free:

Phase 1: Puppy Training Phase (first 6 months)
📅 Every 2 weeks – Short grooming visits

This is SUPER important for training! Frequent visits help your puppy get used to:
✂️ Being touched & handled everywhere
✂️ Clippers, dryers & the grooming table
✂️ Baths, brushing & nail trims
The more positive experiences they have early on, the easier grooming will be for life! Most groomers offer quick “puppy acclimation” trims during this stage.

Phase 2: Maintenance Phase (after 6months)
📅 Every 4 weeks

Once they’re comfortable, switch to a 4-week schedule. This keeps their coat from matting, prevents skin issues, and maintains that adorable Doodle look!

Pro Tip:
🪮Start gentle brushing at home daily/every other day with a slicker brush + comb. Always pair grooming with treats and praise! 🦴💕

Outside of the shop I am also the President of the local kennel club.
This weekend at the Equestrian Center on Mobile Highway is the annual dog show
Friday- Sunday with judging beginning at 8 am

600+ dogs competing daily in conformation, obedience, rally, Fast Cat and Dock diving.
Food trucks and vendors also on site

Admission is $5 per car.

We are winding down and getting the last pups Santa ready. 🎅

The shop will be closed Dec 24 and will reopen Monday January 5. We will be checking voicemails during this time.
