Going through the state heading home and there are 2 things we now know about Texas.

And that’s a wrap folks.
A moment of pure happiness and bliss. After months of getting to know “The Blues Brothers” and providing them with the stability and understanding that life does go on, they finally get their furever after.
Jackson😍 in true lover boy spirit was smitten the second they laid eyes on each other.
Mason😂 had a slightly different reaction.
As you can tell however, it didn’t take long for either of them to truly warm up to their new mom.
The final picture is our goodbyes… a little more sad for us than we’d like to admit but if a picture could speak a thousand words this one had some stories to tell. 🐾

T-2.5 hours until we are out of Texas.
Texas is big.
Texas is huge.
Texas is enormous.

24 hours left of the trip and these guys are having the ride of their lives. The boys have slept the majority of the way, they sniffed out a dog park in Mississippi, had some mini egg omelets for breakfast, and have enjoyed their rest breaks playing with the kids.

The start to a very long journey ahead. The Blues Brothers: Mason and Jackson embark on their move across the country from Florida to California! Yeap, you read that right! The boys have a home, and it’s only 2,456 miles ahead of us.
Everything about the boys has been one big learning curve ball, for everyone involved. And I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Here we go… only 8 hours later than we originally planned to head out…
Here’s to our last shared coke in Florida with Jackson and Mason.

Watching this cute pitty sleeping, one would probably assume we have the most enjoyable job… which is absolutely right. After a super busy day, Miss DaiDai needed some well-deserved relaxation 💚(she is in her final week of training and completing one of her many final test- crate training!)
