Big changes are coming… and we are so excited to finally share them with you! 🤍

Sky High Ranch is beginning a new chapter as we move our program to our beautiful new property in Calistoga. Along with the move, our ranch will officially be changing names to Oak Branch Ranch.
This new property has been a dream in the making, and we can’t wait to continue growing our training program, lessons, rehabilitation work, and horsemanship community here. Oak Branch Ranch will be a place focused on good horses, good people, whole-horse health, and building better partnerships between horses and riders.
We are beyond grateful to everyone who has supported Sky High Ranch over the years, and we’re excited to bring you along on this next adventure.
Over the next few weeks, you’ll start seeing our page transition to the new name and new location — but the heart behind what we do remains the same. ❤️

Obstacle challenge weekend at PRDC, benefiting the senior drill team. This is a great event to introduce your horse to various obstacles in a small, low stress environment. There’s a show on Sunday to test your skills, all levels of horse and rider welcome! PM for more info.

This beautiful boy went to his new home today, and I couldn’t be happier! Romke was always such a beautiful goofball, and I enjoyed having him these last couple months. Huge congratulations to his new owner….. He is in such great hands!

***Everyone meet June!***

This adorable mare is the latest rescue to come into the Sonoma County CHANGE Program. June was reported to have been tethered in a field on a long rope, and proceeded to tangle herself up in it, which resulted to her being on the ground with the rope around her neck choking her. June’s feet need help, she needs groceries, and some love. She has been with CHANGE for one week now, and is learning what carrots are, that not all people are scary, and she is getting the training she needs to make someone a great partner one day. She is very kind, curious, and so happy to be loved. Keep your eyes out for little Junebugs progress!

Sometimes you come across a student who makes your job worth it…… Kim is one of them!! Kim, you have come so far, keep showing up and striving to be better. You have improved so much over the last year….. it has been so fun to watch your confidence and knowledge soar. Your mare is so lucky to have you!!!!
