If you live in the Penn Valley area you probably know that we are the only off-leash dog park serving local residents and their pets. Although we are located on Western Gateway Park property, we operate as a separate non-profit corporation. We receive no funding from the county, so annual memberships and donations to support the dog park are always appreciated. Our secluded and well maintained two
acre dog park is fully fenced with water, shade and seating in all four exercise and training yards; providing a safe and inviting place where well-behaved dogs can play. (The oak grove with its hills is especially great for dogs who like to run.) All areas of the dog park are ADA compliant and easily accessible. There is also an on-site restroom facility and plenty of parking. The dog park was substantially improved and expanded in 2015 so whether your dog is big or small, come visit us.
