KuneKune pigs are so much more than just farm animals—they’re companions with big personalities and even bigger hearts. Known for their friendly, gentle, and social nature, KuneKunes quickly become part of the family.

They love attention, enjoy belly rubs and treats, and are wonderful with children and other animals when properly socialized. Their calm temperament and easygoing personalities make them a joy to have on the homestead, whether you’re looking for a pasture companion, a family pet, or a beautiful addition to your breeding program.

Our KuneKunes are raised with love and handled regularly, so they grow up trusting, curious, and incredibly sweet. It’s hard not to fall in love with their adorable snouts, wagging tails, and affectionate personalities!

We’re excited to announce the arrival of our newest Kunekune litter, born on July 4th!
♥️🤍💙

These little ones come from two registered Kunekune parents, giving them excellent heritage and the wonderful temperament Kunekunes are known for. They’re already thriving and getting cuter every day!

Being first-time Kunekune pig breeders has definitely been a learning experience for my husband and I! Yesterday we stepped outside our comfort zone and learned how to give the piglets their iron shots and clip their tiny baby teeth.

Piglets are born with very low iron stores, and sow’s milk doesn’t provide enough iron for their rapid growth. Without supplementation, they can become weak, pale, and anemic. Giving iron shots helps them stay healthy, strong, and grow properly.

Clipping their sharp little needle teeth is also important because piglets are born with very pointed teeth that can injure their littermates while competing to nurse, and they can also scratch mom while nursing. Trimming those tips helps protect everyone and makes feeding time easier.

It was a little nerve-wracking at first, but we’re so thankful for our local vet Sierra Oaks Veterinary Services who guided us through everything over text and helped give us the confidence we needed.

Raising these little ones has already taught us so much, and we know there’s still plenty more to learn. We’re excited for this journey and grateful for all the support along the way! 🐷💕

We’re so excited to introduce the newest additions to the farm — our adorable new litter of Kunekune piglets! 🐷💕 These little ones are healthy, happy, and already full of personality.

They will be available for their new homes in approximately 12 weeks, and we’ll be sharing plenty of updates, photos, and milestones along the way so you can watch them grow.

Kunekune pigs are known for their gentle temperament, friendly nature as well as being a great meat pig for smaller homesteads.
