Last night, we had a comedy show. My husband's howling would prompt all the puppies to halt their activity, sit still, and direct their attention to Russ. Whenever they would start barking and yelping, Russ's howling would cause them to stop. As I was replenishing the kennel's water after feeding the puppies, I started howling, and the five puppies entered the kennel. Nevertheless, Mama took charge, stopping and leading them all out. Unfortunately, my attempt to elicit the same response was unsuccessful.

When your dog comes to the dog kennel because you’re tired of him, because he bothers you, prevents you from going on holiday or other excuses...
He sits and waits.
He's waiting for you to come get him.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a month, a year --- he's waiting for you.
He doesn’t know why, but he’s waiting because he trusts you; because unlike you, he loves you.
Your dog is not a toy. Think twice before getting a dog. You have the responsibility of a living being and of a family member.

This was to to me by Suzanne who is very close to me , even though Tauna died from COVID and poor medical care in Kansas City, the thoughts are the same.
When I’m alone, waking up during the night When I’m quiet Tauna’s is in my thoughts. This post I think is the way most mothers feel after losing a child no matter the age.
So quit telling them it will get better with time, you continue with your life but it never gets better.
