PHONE ISSUES: It has been brought to my attention that the phone at the shelter is not going to voicemail but rather transferring to a local dog daycare. Should you need Animal Control please contact the Pembroke Police at 781-293-6363. We are working on this and hope to have it rectified it as soon as possible.

It's that time of year and a reminder that these individuals are NOT evil and deserve the chance to live a wild life doing what they do. Skunks will not attack you and will only spray out of defense if they HAVE to. It dehydrates them so don't harass them........give them their space and they will not bother you. They WILL eat your chickens eggs if you don't make your area predator proof.....that's on YOU. They are also interested in your insects and mice. They enjoy small snakes when found as well. Learn to live with wildlife.
It's mating season and fixin to be spring... And they will be out and about. This is one of the most misunderstood animals, in my opinion... If ya see one goin on it's merry lil way... Jus let them be!!
Please.... Live n let live 🦨🖤

Every owner or keeper of a dog who is three (3) months old or over shall license it with the Town Clerk between the first (1st) day of January and the twenty-eighth (28th) day of February of each year.
You may license your dog: Online at
https://epay.cityhallsystems.com/selection

Over the phone (must pay by card).
Coming in office during business hours, Monday 8:00-6:30, Tues-Thur 8:00-4:30, Friday 8:00-12:00. If the Town Hall is closed to the public, please leave your payment in the drop box located outside of Town Hall.

At the annual Town Meeting in May of 2023, the Town of Pembroke voted to accept MGL c.140, §139 relative to dog license fees, so as to provide that no fee shall be charged for a license for a service animal as defined by the American Disabilities Act and dog(s) owned by a person aged 70 years or over. If you are over 70 or have a service dog, please contact our office to have your licensing fees waived.

ALL DOGS REGISTERED AFTER APRIL 1ST ARE SUBJECT TO A $15.00 LATE FEE

It’s very important to license your dog and affixing the license to your dog. Should they get loose and they have their license on them we can return your dog faster to your family. ♥️🐾
