New Course Offering
Residential E-Collar Training
Spring and Summer 2026
This new course includes seven days of individual training and conditioning with an e-collar during boarding, then two subsequent training sessions with the dog’s owner to familiarize the owner with the e-collar and the dog’s new skills. The dog will be boarded in a home environment and will be the only dog in training during the spring and summer months.
This course is intended for dogs that habitually pull on a leash making walking difficult, “counter surf,” jump on people, react to persons and other dogs by barking habitually, ”resource guard,” and are not neutral in the presence of dogs and people when in public.
This course is NOT intended for vicious dogs, dogs with any “bite history” with humans or other dogs.
The course will teach the dog to walk comfortably on a leash or long line, heel and automatically sit on a leash, recall on a long line, travel and sleep in a crate, “out” from prohibited objects, and learn proper manners both indoors and outdoors, at home or in public. During the boarding component of training, the owner will get regular updates of the dog’s progress.
The fee is $800 and includes a high end e-collar, conventional training collar, and long line. At the completion of training, the dog has future opportunities for boarding at a reduced rate.
