It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Animal House Veterinary Hospital.

As many of you may or may not be aware, our company has undergone a significant challenge recently. After thirteen long years of serving such a wonderful community, we have come to the difficult decision to close our doors permanently. This decision is not one that was made lightly; as a staff, we want to express our deep regret for not having been able to communicate this sooner.

This journey has been filled with countless memories and cherished relationship between both, our staff and our loyal customers. We thank each of you for your unwavering support and the smiles you’ve brought to our faces. As we close our doors, we hold on to gratitude and pride for having been given the pleasure and privilege of servicing your pets.

In specific to your pet’s future vet care, our communication app ‘Vitus Vet’ will have your pet’s medical records readily available to obtain personally. Directions on how to maneuver the application are listed in the second slide above.

🚨 New rescue alert! 🚨
This sweet girl was brought in by a good samaritan after her ring camera caught her previous owners abandoning her in her neighborhood. She came in anemic, underweight, with intestinal parasites and a skin infection. She was likely used for breeding.
She is heart worm negative, up to date with vaccines and will be spayed soon. She is very sweet and playful but she will thrive in a single pet home. Please helps us give this beautiful girl a second chance at a loving and caring family! ❤️

It is with a heavy heart that we have to share we’ve lost a loved one. Pam motivated those around her to be their best selves and reach their full potential. Pam was a prime example of what it meant to be selfless. She effortlessly shed light and love to those around her, and for that, she will always be remembered. Through the years, Pam has built a family within Animal House, not only between the staff but with the clients and patients as well. Her legacy will live on within every person that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Bunnies need dental care too! Bunnies have open rooted teeth that grow continuously throughout their lives. They are able to file down their teeth while they eat hay, but unfortunately there’s some bunnies that need the extra help, like the little guy above.

Rabbit teeth are a little more difficult to see as an owner on your own, that’s why it’s a crucial part of Dr. Rupp’s physical exam. You can stay attentive to your fluffy babies at home by watching out for signs of dental discomfort; signs can include being a selective eater (for example, only enjoying pellets/veggies), grinding of their teeth, drooling and in extreme cases, complete inappetence.

Preventatives for dental disease are as easy as feeding a mainly-hay based diet! Its coarse texture allows them to file their teeth while still keeping their tummy’s full.
