🚨 WE ARE HEARTBROKEN TO ANNOUNCE THAT GONE ROGUE GIRLS RESCUE HAS CLOSED INTAKE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. 🚨
This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to make.
Every day, our phones ring. Our inboxes fill. Our messages flood with desperate pleas for help. Owner surrenders. Shelter dogs running out of time. Litters of puppies with nowhere to go. Adult dogs being abandoned, neglected, or discarded.
And every day, we are forced to make impossible decisions.
Right now, we have medical cases in our care. We have dogs needing foster homes. We have ongoing veterinary bills, food costs, supplies, transportation expenses, and dogs already depending on us to keep our promises.
As much as it breaks our hearts, we cannot continue saying “yes” when we do not have the resources to support the dogs already in our program.
Closing intake is not something any rescue wants to do.
It means dogs we know about may not get help.
It means saying no when every part of us wants to say yes.
It means knowing there are dogs out there who need us, and not having the space, funds, or foster homes to take them.
💔 We are exhausted.
💔 We are overwhelmed.
💔 And we are asking our village for help.
The only way we can reopen intake is with YOUR support.
🐾 We need foster homes.
🐾 We need committed volunteers.
🐾 We need donations to cover medical care and daily expenses.
🐾 We need people willing to step up before more dogs fall through the cracks.
Every foster home that opens allows us to save another life.
Every donation helps us continue caring for the dogs already depending on us and moves us one step closer to reopening intake.
Please consider fostering.
