I offer at home grooms (no van) for an extra travel fee. Or I do have a space to groom in located in Pecos!

Money, and status are not the mission here!! Getting dogs healthy and happy is! So place reach out and we will find a way to get every pet feeling 100%. Whether they are are afraid of the car, the groomer, the tools, they are seniors, bite, don’t have shots, haven’t been groomed because you can’t afford luxury spas, etc. that’s who I’m here for! The people that need it!! The pets that need it!!

I appreciate you all so much! If I could please ask you to share this or your favorite pet you’ve seen so far on my page. Just to get me growing further and wider it would mean the world to me!!!

Every time I get to make one of these posts I am reminded how grateful I am to have my job!! I am so lucky to have walked into Steller Dogs and Cool Cats for the first time when I was just 13 I think! To get my little Ally-gator-noodles groomed and walk out with my dream job in my heart and hands! I had to ask my school for a permit to get started. Making $8 an hour. To here!!!! I am so blessed, I have learned so much, met some incredible people, traveled to some awesome places. This job is my passion and I’m so proud to get to serve Pecos because it has always been home. After living in Arizona and learning everything I possibly could. I have such an appreciation for Pecos and the peace it brings me. Driving into these mountains everyday and getting to work with animals that truly need the help. It brings so much joy to my heart!!

Prim and Proper Paws is here to help!! I do one on one dog grooming. I always strive to make it the most relaxing, peaceful experience. I’ve come from some kind of traumatizing grooming salons so I understand the fear that comes alongside some of these fur babies!! We take it slow. We take the time it takes. I want to clear something up with everybody because I have had it become an issue recently. I do AT HOME grooms NOT MOBILE grooms. I DO NOT have a van I come into homes and work however, the pet parent and pet are comfortable. I also have a set up at my parents house in Pecos that is fully equipped to groom. I do charge a travel fee based on the location I’m traveling to. The rate ranges from $25-$40. My grooming fee includes nails and ears as well as express service. Every dog is done one on one so that they do not experience the normal stress of a Grooming salon. Then I look at the condition of the coat, size of the dog, haircut specifications, etc. Money is not the object of the game. I want to help the pets so please tell me if a price is too much for you and we can adjust. I came from Phoenix so I’m basing my prices off of what that salon and others I’ve worked in normally charge. However I do have goals to meet that require me to make an income!

Another note I would like to make is that cancellations affect both of us! If I continue to have a lot of people canceling more than once I’m going to have to start requiring a deposit or cancellation fee.

I appreciate everyone that has supported me so far and continues to give me a shot. I hope that we can make this dream come true together! I have a lot of openings in the coming week if anybody’s interested, please give me a call or send me a text!
