My grandson Logan Fuller yesterday- was his 5th birthday. He rides Lola all over the Farm in Iowa. Logan loves his Lola❣️They have her mane pretty long from braiding it. Im hoping by the time he starts to show her it will be to her knees! Clay says Lola is so so good with Logan. Clay has a waiting list of people who want to purchase her if we ever decide to sell her. LOL!

I don’t think younger me would believe this season of my life if she saw it. There was a time when everything had to have a purpose… every animal, every hobby, every moment. Horses especially they had to be trained, ridden, useful, valuable. There was never room for “just because.” But lately, I catch myself standing at the fence line watching our horses graze… and it hits me in the softest, most unexpected way: I don’t need anything from them anymore.

Not a ride.
Not a ribbon.
Not a paycheck.
Nothing.

I get to love them simply because they make my heart happy. I get to keep them because their presence is enough. I get to walk out to the pasture and just be, and that alone fills me in a way I can hardly put into words. It’s the sweetest kind of freedom realizing that something you once had to justify can now just exist as pure joy. And every time I see them, ears flicking toward me, tails swishing in the sun, I feel this warm, quiet gratitude settle in my chest. For the first time in my life, I have horses for no other reason than… I love looking at them. And somehow, that simple truth is one of the most heartwarming blessings🤍🐴

Well after trying to lose an eye ball and one very tumultous visit to the vet, the eye ball is saved with full vision and she is weaned 😮‍💨😮‍💨

We still haven’t settled on the perfect registered name…. And I’ve questioned my venture back into horses more than a few times. But she sure is pretty 😍

The head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started Kindergarten. Another man was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts. One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off on time. Another was late, stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an accident and his life was spared. One missed his bus. One spilled food on her clothes and had to take the time to change. One's car wouldn't start. One couldn't get a taxi. One went back to answer the house phone. A man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning developed a blister before he got to the Towers, so he stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.

The girls are IN ROUTE ❤️❤️ and yes your eyes are not deceiving you, our bay splash baby is actually roan!

So, the dam was born Buckskin, shed out either bay/blue roan as a baby. The dams sure was Smokey Blue Roan and her dam was sorrel. I’m thinking she’s bay roan and my filly is bay roan splash???

Can’t wait to do some color testing soon! Thanks to Gorder with Rafter CG Horse Hauling for getting the girls home safely!

Well… the Woolever’s are officially back in the horse/breeding business… or maybe I should say I’m back, Cole never left 😂

If you’ve followed my journey you will recognize that these two hold a deep meaning to me.

Several years ago, I purchased a daughter of Widows Freckles from Lee Ann Maddox Weatherford and she was in foal. The resulting foal was this beautiful mare I named, Whentheglitterfades.

During the same year, a flashy c**t I called Winston was born. I bred a daughter of Smart Chic Olena to a stallion named AlwaysShineYerGunsUp and Winston was the product, Smartchicsnshinyguns.

Life happens and I sold out of horses and finished school, moved across the country, got married…you know life. But I’m a firm believer that if you turn something loose and it’s meant to be, it will come back to you.

So welcome home Whentheglitterfades and her 2025 filly by Smartchicsnshinyguns (aka Winston). Whentheglitterfades is in foal to a son of Badboonarising that is out of a daughter of Freckles Merada for a 2026 foal.
