I'm truly sorry for taking so long to post here. There has been great sadness again in our home. My kind, loving, and funny soulmate... known as Buck to many, passed away on March 20th (this year). He had been diagnosed several years ago with Alzheimer's, and then in October of last year he was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer. He did chemo and he did radiation, but before he could complete his last two rounds of chemo we found that it had metastasized to his brain... which is what we did not want to happen. He made the choice not to continue with treatment because even if it could be cured he would always have the Alzheimer's and was concerned about how that would progress after having the cancer spread to the brain.
My heart is forever broken...

With the new year a little over a week away I want to apologize for not posting more often...I realize I've been pretty non existent.
Life threw some curve balls my way this year and while I got knocked down a few times I managed to get back up and continue to move forward.
My sweet sister who was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in August of 2023 passed away in her sleep on May 26th, 2024. My heart will be forever shattered, but I try to keep my head up.
I took early retirement in November when my husband was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer, this on top of Alzheimer's (officially diagnosed a year and a half ago). This is a whole different kind of...life.
I try to stay positive for a better 2025, but don't see it happening.

First, my deepest apologies for not keeping up with Kodies Legacy posts. Life had been busy for everyone these days...these last number of years.
Within the last few months we have been notified by some of our previous pet families that their "fur-kids"have crossed Rainbow Bridge.
Our deepest condolences to these families...our hearts have been broken by your loss...💔💔💔
