Went to corral 3 wild horses that were set loose on about 7 acres ...brought home an underweight 25yr old gelding!
We are going back for the 3 wild horses when we can get a vet out to tranq them as the solid red mare ran through some barbwire fencing that was on the property (no idea why anyone thought barbwire and wild horses mixed)

Meet pops (it's what we are calling him right now!)

If anyone wants to donate for feed costs

Alfalfa Hay is 23$/bale
The grain is 16$/bag super good feed that also has alfalfa in it!

1st time even seeing a saddle she took it like a champ even when I was being extra

She is a yearling, she had the saddle on for 5 minutes MAX, no one got on her no one will get on her....saddle weighs 20lbs MAX if that

I got him in my sweet girl lettys blanket unsure how I convinced him but yea he's now blanketed 😂❤️

For the new year I let him just hangout with my horses ❤️

However before new years I was able to walk up to him and clip the lead to his halter ❤️

He's still skittish and hard to catch in wide open areas but he's getting there! Hard work and time is what this boy needs!
