Hawaii is paradise, but not for homeless cats.

Our mission and purpose is to rescue abandoned, injured, special needs, and homeless cats on our Hawaiian islands, and to provide urgent medical care. Our volunteers fight daily to save them from euthanasia due to overpopulation and lack of resources. Our goal is to advocate awareness, educate, save cats from harsh conditions in the wild, TNRM, adoption, foster care and networking.

URGENT 🚨 VET FUNDS NEEDED 🐱PLEASE HELP 🙏 Danny Boyyy 💚 has suffered enough. 😢 He needs our help to get better.
After everything he’s been through, this sweet boy deserves his chance. 🙌 Danny Boyyy 💚 is still hospitalized at on Oahu, getting treated for FIP, dehydration, and high sodium levels. He’s already beaten impossible odds once. This miracle cat came back from the brink of death, and now he needs a little more help to make it through this next battle. ❤️‍🩹🐱

🆘 URGENT! 🚨 VET FUNDS NEEDED😩🙏✨🚨 PLEASE HELP SAVE DANNY BOYYY!😭🐈‍⬛💚🚨✨
Two years ago, Danny Boyy ☘️ should have died.💔 He must have had a little luck of the shamrocks ☘️ watching over him when he was found around St. Patrick’s Day, because somehow he held on.
He was hit by a car 🚙 on Oʻahu’s North Shore and left broken in the blazing Hawaiian sun for hours. 😩 Cars passed. People saw him. No one stopped.😭
Our RKH volunteer found him barely clinging to life with a fractured jaw, a massive head wound, and devastating injuries. As she rushed him to the VCA Family and Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center ER, Danny Boyyy💚 lifted his head, sat up, and looked at her as if to say, “I’m not done yet.”🙏
Against all odds, he survived. After ICU care and weeks of recovery, he learned to eat, drink, and walk again. For the next two years, this sweet soul became the RKH foster dad every rescued kitten needed, comforting and nurturing countless orphaned babies. ❤️ He is such a huge part of us. 🥺
Now he is fighting for his life again.
Danny Boyyy 💚 has been diagnosed with FIP and severe painful stomatitis. He stopped eating and drinking, and became dangerously dehydrated. Because his sodium levels are too high, he requires intensive ICU care and slow rehydration on IV fluids to survive.🙏
He’s 7 years old now, and this incredible boy💚 has spent 2+ years helping others.🙌Please help us save him. 🐾🐈‍⬛
🙏 Every donation goes directly to his emergency care. We are a volunteer run 501(c)(3) rescue. We must raise $4,000 to save him.

The sweetest local Moloka’i family who originally found baby Garfunkel just found 2 newborn kittens at a different location. The mom cat gave birth but must’ve gotten spooked by something because she took off and never returned. They used the heating pad we gave them a few months ago and kept these 2 neonates warm and brought them to us!🩷🩵🐾🌺

The young girls who originally found newborn Garfunkel- on a large property while they were outside playing- were so happy to see him again! 🩷 We took him in at only 69 grams, cold, and starving, after his poor mom cat was hit and killed by a car. 💔Sadly, his sibling Simon could not be saved. He was too hypothermic and hypoglycemic and never recovered. 🥺 Baby Garfunkel was alone in the wild for over 24 hours after his mom was killed, but he is such a lil fighter. His early days were very tough and we did not know if he would make it, but he did! He is best friends (now brothers) with another former neonate we pulled without a mom, Garfield. 🧡 They are the sweetest lil guys and we are so grateful they are happy, healthy and thriving! ❤️🐾❤️

❤️✨ The Paralyzed Mighty Cat Miracle Kitten Who Refused to Die on Molokai ✨❤️
🐾In the middle of the night on our small island of Molokai 🏝️, a local family rushed a 7 week old stray kitten to us. Little Richard 🐾🩵 weighed just 1.38 pounds and was completely paralyzed in his back legs. He had been dragging himself through mud and diarrhea for weeks. His body was covered in sores, and his bladder was dangerously full. It’s a miracle he survived this long, all alone in the wild. When we tried to express his bladder, he screamed in pain 💔
His p***s was blocked, infected, the skin was closed so he could not urinate, and without emergency surgery he would not survive.🥺
It was Saturday. No inter-island pet cargo flights. No local emergency surgical care. No options on Moloka’i other than a fatal outcome. 💔
But he kept fighting. Even in pain, he still reached for a toy and purrred..🐾😿
So we moved fast. 🙏 We flew him to Oahu ✈️, got him to 🏥
Our amazing board-certified surgeon, Dr. Lam, came in on his day off and performed his lifesaving surgery. We love you Dr Lam! He is such a miracle worker!! ⭐️ He later told us Little Richard would not have survived much longer and we got him to VCA in the knick of time 💛🙌
Without enough funds for such a big medical case, we reached out to our incredible partner for help. OKC approved his quickly and made his emergency surgery possible!🙌🩷 Thank you OKC for helping us save the most critical, most vulnerable lives. We are so grateful❤️ Today, Little Richard is back with us on Molokai 🏝️. His infection and diarrhea are gone, his bladder is stable, and he purrs, plays, and radiates joy 🩵
His back legs still don’t work, but he doesn’t let that stop him.💪
On a remote island 🏝️ with no emergency veterinary care, miracles don’t come easy. But this time, everything aligned. People showed up. Help arrived. Love won 🩷
He still has a long road ahead, but he is safe and loved in his foster home with his RKH ‘Ohana.🩷🏡

We have multiple emergency cats at VCA Oahu and are also handling multiple kitty flights to the mainland plus caring for over 130 kittens in foster and around the island of Molokai.
We are overwhelmed but handling everything as we always do.
Please bear with us as we are behind on social media updates but will catch up as soon as possible.
We are a small team of volunteers and the cat care comes first.

We just flew out 20 Molokai Kona Low Storm rescue kittens to WA State for adoption. We will post their amazing journey to our incredible partners very soon! We are extremely busy with multiple kitty emergencies at and caring for so many kittens. Here’s a few more that are next in line on our kitty flight list! ✈️ 🐾🩷💛🩵😃
