First 3 kittens of the season have found their new homes!

Actually wasn’t sure about this one. She was just a working girl who was matted all over her back half. I couldn’t get my fingers through to skin. But I really do whatever I can to not shave a double coated dog, especially a working dog!
So some pre-mat trimming, 1 hour in the bath, 2 hours of detangling spray + high velocity blow-dryer+ brushing + deshedding comb and I promise that’s the same dog at the end!

Okay folks, through an interesting chain of events, I’ve acquired an iguana who is looking for a home!

Now listen- iguanas need special conditions. They aren’t like a goldfish or even a cat! They have special diets (fresh vegetables, leaves, fruit), need heat, uvb light, humidity, and a spacious environment. They get big.

I can’t commit to keeping it and I have quite an assortment of pets! (Turtle, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, rabbit). Send me a message if an iguana has been a life-long dream of yours and you are fully prepared for the time and financial commitment!

This year, we downgraded from the kitty city to the kitty cottage and this morning brought us our first round of kittens! One found her new home already which just leaves the gray male and tabby female looking for homes! Or just come by and hold them and get your kitten fix!

A mixed breed pup
And 2 blowouts

Even though longer hair is more work, I do really love the way a 5/8 inch guard looks on a doodle leg 😍

Yet another before and during but no after! As much as she complained (vocally), we know she feels way better! Petting her shoulders in the second photo vs her hips- felt like a whole different dog! Still haven’t met a husky with a coat that couldn’t be reasonably de-shed and needed to be shaved!

This good boy had his first grooming today and came all the way from Salem because every other groomer his (new) owner tried, wanted to shave his coat and start over (he was a bit pelted, had some mats in places). But we cleaned him up realllll nice, only had to cut out a few mats and were able to comfortably split and work out the rest of his mats and blow out his compacted fur 👌🏻 it was just another day of saving the Malamute coats 😍
