In honor of National Access to Veterinary Care Day, we want to be transparent about something we think about every single day β€” the fact that quality feline care should not be a privilege.

We believe that every cat deserves quality care, regardless of your budget. That's why we're hosting our first-ever Community Spay & Neuter Event on Saturday, May 23rd β€” and planning more throughout the summer.

πŸ“… May 23, 2026
Drop-off: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Pick-up: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Pricing:
Cat Spay β€” $105
Cat Neuter β€” $80
TNR Feral Female (spay + ear tip + rabies) β€” $95
TNR Feral Male (neuter + ear tip + rabies) β€” $70

The above price includes the procedure and 3-day injectable pain medications.

Vaccines, dewormer, flea prevention, microchip & combo testing available Γ  la carte.

And because access to care doesn't stop at events β€” we also offer more outside of the well known CareCredit including Cherry financing (similar to Klarna and AfterPay), and in-house payment plans for routine visits year-round. No one should have to choose between their cat and their budget.

Additional summer dates coming soon. Spots for May 23rd are limited β€”Call, Text, or us to reserve yours. (And please - spread the word and be on the lookout for coming events!)

Our angel fund needs your help!

This sweet 7 month old who we have named "Squid Ink Pasta" was brought in by a good Samaritan after being hit by car. We are partnering with Fayette County Animal Shelter to help with her care.

She has an open fracture with the bone exposed (picture not posted due to graphicness) of her right leg and a broken hip and neck of the femur of the left leg. Due to her right fracture being through a growth plate and likely complicating healing and future growth of that limb, we are amputating it. For the left leg, we will perform an orthopedic surgery called an FHO, which removes the head of the femur and creates a false joint strengthened by the muscles over time. She will have an uphill recovery, but in the long run she will do well with three legs and short-term rehab.

Right now she is here at Cat Care until her surgery next Monday. We are looking and asking for donations to help cover her medical bill. We have actually recently helped the shelter with two other big surgeries, and while they care for hundreds of animals in the shelter, big-ticketed bills like this can sometimes end up with euthanasia as a result when animals back to back are in need.

If you are interested in donating, please call the clinic and ask to donate towards Squid Ink Pasta's bill.

Squid Ink Pasta will eventually need a home and hopefully a long-term foster, so if you are interested in fostering or adopting her through her rehab care, please let us know or come by to visit her. She is very sweet, purrs and makes biscuits any time we are handling her, and has been a champ over the last couple of days.
