Our Groomers are Professionally Trained in all dog breed grooming. There is no dog too large nor too small. We are by appointment only and most grooms take approximately 2 hours. Your pet is not caged while in our care and will be provided fresh water and walked for potty breaks. Once your pet has been groomed they are able to be picked up (no all day stays required). Come in for yourself and see why we're a cut above the best!

We frequently get questions regarding boarding & daycare for your pets.

I personally endorse Barks & Recreation down a few doors from the salon here in Tyrone.

The owner and operator Ashely Mayo-Barber is more than qualified and runs a very successful business at a very competitive rate!

If you’ve ever boarded your dog in a traditional kennel, you probably know what it usually looks like. Or, maybe you don’t. It is typically rows of crates, limited interaction, and a lot of downtime. They get out of their kennels for select scheduled playtime hours only - a lot of places even charge extra for that but Barks & Recreation does not.

Like out salon, their boarding is completely kennel free, which means your dog isn’t spending their stay in a crate.
Instead, they stay in their own cozy bedroom overnight and spend their days doing what dogs are meant to do…moving, exploring, and engaging!

For about 12 hours each day, they are out directly with the owner Ashely who is certified in many different dog handling standards and has been in the industry since 2011.

During the night, they go in their own furnished bedroom designed to look like a home environment.

Here’s what makes their boarding different:

🐾 Enrichment based daycare INCLUDED daily
Your dog isn’t just “waiting” to go home. They’re participating in structured mental activities, play, and engagement throughout the day.

🐾 Free enrichment activities
Think nosework, problem solving games, and interactive setups that keep their brains busy (and happy). These are never an add on. These are a part of their structure and what they do!

🐾 Free daily photo updates directly to your phone
You’ll get to actually see how your dog is doing, not just wonder.

🐾 Free overnight boredom busters. Even after daycare ends, they make sure your dog has something calming and engaging to wind down with before bed or in case they wake up in the night and are bored.

🐾 Overnight observation for ALL boarders. All dogs suite’s are monitored via wifi cam personally by Ashely overnight. If they have any issues or notice that a dog is having a hard time settling, she sends her trainer (who is less than 5 minutes away) over to comfort them.

In a traditional kennel setting, dogs often:
• spend most of their time confined
• have limited mental stimulation and everything provided is usually an “add on” with cost
• experience more stress from constant barking and lack of structure

Beau Tye's Pet Spa is a well established business in the area since 2004 and is located in Peachtree City. We have a very fun and friendly work environment with an amazing clientele. Currently, we are looking for a part-time professional dog bather with strong customer service skills.

Requirements include:

* Love and compassion of dogs

* Positive team player.

* Dog bathing experience preferred but not required

* Must love working with dogs and be able to handle of all types of personalities (puppy, senior, challenging, and dogs with medical issues)

*Strong attention to detail.

*Able to bath 10 to 11 dogs a day.

* Able to safely lift dogs up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

*Able to work 5 days a week (Monday thru Friday). You are guaranteed weekends off and evenings.

* Provide own slip resistant safety shoes

* Must have own transportation and be reliable. Dependability is a primary function of this position.
